Pick your VESA mount points

PresTop lifts, kiosks and tables are produced for various VESA mount sizes, of which 400×400 mm is the most popular. Our 400×400 Universal Brackets System will fit most displays and will also fit smaller VESA sizes like 400×200 and 200×200.

Is your monitor or touch screen equipped with mount points at different VESA positions, such as 600×400 or even 800×400 or larger? We can supply conversion kits for most products such as the Microsoft Surface Hub.

What’s the catch with touch table position?

Two factors affect your touch screen’s longevity and reliability when positioned flat: temperature and rigidity.

Most displays are designed for convection cooling: air heats up when the display is in use, rises and exits through vents. This circulation is limited when the display is placed in table position. So to function reliably while laying flat, either energy-conserving technologies or active cooling is necessary.

Rigidity is is another factor, especially for touch screens larger than 55 inches in size. Both the monitor’s structural parts (usually the back chassis) and the front panel must be able to withstand a horizontal position without flexing or bending. When in doubt, consider a PresTop back cover to improve rigidity.
