The PresTop Process

Usually it’s a good idea to first get inspired in our Interactive Experience Center. Around 80 different interactive multi-touch exhibits demonstrate what PresTop is capable of. This showcase of solutions in corporate, event, retail and museum settings really helps to generate ideas that will work in your situation.

Together we will work on a set of requirements from functional, esthetics and cost/value perspectives. PresTop will offer advice on materials (like coated steel, stainless steel, corten steel, wood, polymers, glass, styrofoam), touch technology, software and installation. Our 23 years of experience means that we know what works and what doesn’t, saving you the experimentation process.

The Innovation Lab

Our Innovation Lab is equipped with samples of touch technologies, materials, prototypes and accessories. You are very welcome to evaluate your design together with our experts. Or, we will create a design based on your wishes.

Our mechanical engineers use Solidworks to create a production-ready design, verifying design decisions with you along the way. 3D rendered images will gave you an accurate impression of the eventual looks of your product. We are expertly aware of the material’s properties and work with touch technology and display vendors constantly, ensuring great integration.

Our metalwork is produced to the highest standards, employing computer-controlled laser cutters for great precision.

Most of our steel components are then powder-coated in either clear coat or your choice of color. Powder-coating offers a durable, anti-scuff finish. Unless of course you have chosen for corten steel, stainless steel or aluminum as your material, which requires different finishing techniques.

As this is the most visible part of our flagship PCAP products, PresTop  glass is carefully sourced and each piece is individually checked for quality. Most of our glass is hardened, etched for anti-glare properties, and printed along the edges.

Touch lamination in our cleanroom

The popular projected-capacitive (PCAP ) touch technology is housed on a thin transparent foil. This foil has to be laminated in a cleanroom to ensure quality, free of air bubbles, particles of dust or wrinkles.

Shipping worldwide means  supporting you with customs, certifications and packaging. We will also streamline your logistics by supplying the right packaging (cartons, crates, flightcases) for your products. Even container-based shipping is a possibility.

Assembly, integration and configuration

Our well-trained personnel assembles the various parts into a finished product. We often integrate third-party or customer-supplied components: reciept printers, payment terminals, various scanners and sensors, and of course LCD displays.

We can apply customer-specific settings, integrate a PC or Android player and install a customer-specific software image if so desired.

Service & Support

Our products are backed up by a comprehensive warranty. In the Benelux we can provide on-site service; we provide spare parts shipping worldwide. Telephone and email support are of course always included.
